Today is Day 18 of Art Every Day Month
. I'll be spending my day sketching and doodling for tomorrow's Crudoodle and will be sharing that with you tomorrow morning. What I'd like to talk about is yesterday...
Yesterday, I woke up at 2:30 a.m.!
Yes, I know. I don't know why I woke up then, but I was wide awake and couldn't face laying back down to toss and turn. I, of course, came to the computer.
This is the result.
|Basset Hound by Tori Beveridge|
My 2:30 a.m. technique was a mixture of photomanipulation and digital painting.
Now, it's not like I woke up saying I want to paint a Basset Hound. In fact, I would say, I never once thought that I would have this guy in my gallery, after all it's filled with fantasy characters, fairies, angels.. but, I do.
I like him. I think I'm going to do more animals now, especially more dogs of different breeds, and cats. If you'd like to see a larger version please visit my DeviantArt Gallery
Oh.. my husband says that I have officially attained weird, eccentric artist status by waking up and painting a basset hound at 2:30 a.m..
